On manic Monday at Wimbledon, the 26th chapter of the Williams sister rivalry was the match that everyone had been anticipating. The two sisters walked onto Centre Court dreading the fact that one of them would be ending the others run at The Championships. Serena was by far the favorite over her older sister, having won 7 majors since she turned thirty years old, while Venus had been struggling to even win titles. Throughout 2015 however, Venus had played some magnificent tennis. In a pre-match interview, Serena said about her sister, "She's in better form than I am." This proved to have little effect on the overall match as Serena handily defeated Venus 6-4 6-3 playing her cleanest match of the tournament. It took everything Venus had just to stay close with Serena and it still wasn't enough to extinguish a Serena Williams who was motivated by the chance to accomplish the Serena Slam for a second time and possibly the Grand Slam in the near future.
