Courtney Love Attacked By Uber Protestors In Paris

On Thursday, Courtney Love got caught up in an attack by Uber protestors in Paris and tweeted that the vehicle she was in was under siege.

In January, France placed a ban on UberPOP, the Internet ride service’s lowest price transportation option, yet numerous drivers for it still hit the roads of Paris.

That has ignited tensions among licensed taxi operators and many have begun to protest the company’s presence.

Their efforts to rid the streets of it have escalated to violence.

Courtney Love got caught up in one such attack in the early hours of Thursday, and tweeted that the vehicle she was in was under siege.

She wrote, “they've ambushed our car and are holding our driver hostage. they're beating the cars with metal bats. this is France?? I'm safer in Baghdad”

Love also sent out an explicative-filled tweet calling for the French president to intervene, demanding he get to the airport to address the situation there.
