Orca Pod Swims Near Fishermen in Puget Sound

It wasn’t a good day of fishing for two Washington men, but they spotted a pod of orcas that swam right near their boat. At the end of this video, you can hear them saying that the whales were why they weren’t catching any salmon.
Local news reported the pod was spotted at about 7:30am on June 5. Killer whales are on the endangered species list, and there have been reports of babies being born in the Pacific northwest. Credit: Facebook/Oliver Taylor
