His sister Dalbir Kaur, who made it her life’s mission to fight for her brother’s release is known to all. Unfortunately, after being incarcerated for around two decades, he was eventually killed by inmates inside the prison.
Mary Kom director Omung Kumar has taken up the mega task to bring this story to life on the silver screen. Initially, there were whispers that Mr. Kumar wanted Priyanka Chopra to essay this role, but now looks like it’s Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made the cut.
