Police Dashcam Captures Attempted Self-Immolation at Gas Station

Dashcam footage provided courtesy of the Austin Police Department shows officers responding to a call and pulling up to a vehicle moments before a man slammed his car door shut and set it alight at a gas station in the south east of the city. The individual suffered burns and was taken to University Medical Center Brackenridge in serious condition. Two officers suffered from minor injuries as well.
