Pink takes a job in a Chinese restaurant.
The Pink Panther applies for a job as a waiter and the only way he can place orders is with the sound of different gongs. Next door to the cafe is a store that sells precious glassware. Every time the Panther orders a meal, the glass merchant's delicate items break into tiny pieces. Finally, the poor man has only one piece of glass left, so he decides to close down his business. He goes to a tropical island for some rest and relaxation, only to discover that the Pink Panther is there ringing a gong to call people for dinner.
