Slow-Motion Video Shows Hair-Raising Descent to Saint Barths Airport

The landing strip at the Gustaf III Airport on the Caribbean island of Saint Barths is just 650 meters long with approaching planes having to navigate over a tricky hill that lies at the foot of the runaway. Pilots must approach nose down, rather than up, as is usual for planes.YouTuber Dez Rosswess recently captured a Twin Otter aircraft touching down at the airport in slow motion, with the plane matching the curve of the hill on its descent. No doubt a frightening ride for those on board. Credit: YouTube/Dez Rosswess
