Man escapes Russian prison with spoon

A Russian hitman and arms dealer broke out of a Moscow prison with a spoon.

Oleg Topalov, 33, was missing from the cell he shared with seven other men Tuesday morning. Guards discovered a hole in the ceiling which they suspect Topalov picked out with a spoon. They believe Topalov made his way to the roof of the two-story prison block through the ventilation system, then jumped to a fence and slipped over with the aid of a rope. Topalov was due to appear in court for murder and illegal arms trafficking.
