Plane hits cow during landing at airport in Indonesia

A plane carrying 110 passengers skidded off the runway after hitting a cow at an airport in Gorontalo, Indonesia on August 6.
The pilot said he saw three cows wandering on the runway when he was landing. One of them appeared to be confused by the lights and started circling around on the runway. The cow was crushed to death under one of the plane's middle wheels. None of the passengers were reported to be seriously injured.
