Japanese thieves busted for stealing hundreds of water faucets from middle school

Two Japanese men accused of stealing hundreds of water faucets from a middle school in Saitama Prefecture have been arrested before on similar charges in May.

Shunsuke Gonda, 23 and unemployed, and Hiromichi Tonomori, a 26-year-old painter from Fujimino, were busted for theft and unlawful entry this past Thursday again for trying to steal water faucets.

The pair allegedly entered a middle school in Kawagoe by breaking windows and removed the faucets with hammers from sinks.

Unfortunately for the thieves, the incident received significant coverage in the news, and they were forced to abandon their plan to sell the faucets.
