Looks like French President Francois Hollande is sneaking around on a scooter so he can have an affair with an actress if you believe magazine Closer. The French tabloid magazine published seven pages of pictures to back up its feature. Hollande has criticized the story as an "attack on his private life" and has said he will sue the magazine.

Hollande was very upset, but has not denied the allegation. The president is calling the story an attack on his right to privacy. Last Friday, Closer ran a seven-page report on the president's infidelity with the headline, "Francois Hollande and Julie Gayet - the president's secret love."

Photos printed in the magazine show 41-year-old Gayet arriving at an apartment in an nicer part of Paris on December 30, close to the Elysee palace where Hollande resides. About 30 minutes later, a man identified as Hollande's bodyguard checks out the hallway of the apartment block before two helmeted men arrive on scooter, one of them whom they identify as Hollande - although he never shows his face.

The bodyguard does show his face and has been identified as part of Hollande's official security detail. According to the pictures, the next day the bodyguard arrived back at the apartment around 8am with a small bag of croissants. Three hours later, a helmeted man is shown getting on the back of a chauffeur-driven scooter as the body looks on.

Rumors that Hollande has been hooking up with Gayet, a mother-of-two, have been circulating France for months. However, the French are known for not really getting into their leaders' infidelities, which in the past have had little or no negative impact on approval ratings.
