Japanese soldier suspended over slew of sexual harassment allegations

A Japanese Air Self-Defense soldier was suspended on Tuesday after a slew of sexual harassment incidents. Airman First Class Kazuyuki Shigemori was given a 60-day suspension from his duties at Komatsu Air Base in central Japan. The 25-year-old allegedly broke into one of the base's female dormitories last year and stands accused of multiple counts of sexual assault.

Shigemori's perverted actions weren't limited to the military base, however. Last October, the soldier reportedly pulled up the skirt of a high school girl in Komatsu. Shigemori faces a number of other charges including leaving the base without permission and going AWOL for three days last November. He has admitted to all charges and expressed his desire to resign from his post at the military base.
