A 70-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed by a man in Baltimore near South Stricker Street between West Baltimore and Hollins streets on February 15. The incident happened around 5:15 a.m. when the victim was calling for help with a flat tire Surveillance footage shows a man in black jacket and khaki pants sneaking up on the woman from behind. She was still on the phone and didn't notice him.

The suspect then violently dragged the woman to the ground and began assaulting her. The suspect kept hitting her while she struggled to get free until he was able to grab her cell phone and run off. Armed with the surveillance camera footage, police are now actively hunting down the suspect.

In the interview with CBS Baltimore, Pastor Brian Jones expressed his frustration over the robbery, which happened just a block away from his Harvest Church and Ministries. Several neighbors also expressed their frustrations over the robbery after a gunshot incident happened on the same block in November.
