The endless wait was over for all the pretty ladies out there as their lover boy, Pakistan’s leading actor Fawad Khan made his return to the small screen.
Fawad in his third appearance for Zindagi’s channel is seen as a classic romantic hero in ‘Waqt Ne Kiya Kya Haseen Sitam’. The original run of Pakistani drama serial was in 2010 with the title Dastaan based on the novel Bano, by Razia Butt.
But looks like the Information And Broadcast Ministry didn’t want to look at the show as just love story and have ordered Broadcast Content Complaints Council to look into the show as it’s pro-Pakistan. Yikes!
The ministry also accused Zindagi channel of airing shows that are generally pro-Pak. Ouch…now that hurts!
Executives from Zindagi channel have not released any statement regarding the controversy yet. Stay tuned for more updates on the same!
