A Phoenix, Arizona man was arrested last week after brutally stabbing his teenage brother to death, according to a Fox News report.

Andrew Ward, 27 and his half-brother Austin Tapia, 12, were left at home together to play video games while their mother and sister went out for dinner on Wednesday evening. After the two ladies had left, Ward stabbed his younger brother with a knife multiple times and left him for dead.

He next went to a Circle K located a few blocks away from his home, and borrowed a cell phone from the store employee, Kristina Krasovich, who told the police "he was real shaky and scared. I could see in his eyes something bad had happened." She asked if he was alright, and responded with a thumbs up.

Ward told the police over the phone that he just stabbed someone. Tapia was found dead by the time authorities arrived with several stab wounds riddling his body. Their family returned home from dinner to bear witness to the gruesome scene shortly after.

Ward was found standing covered in blood with a knife in his pants pocket and said that he simply did it because he 'felt like killing.' He reportedly showed no emotion mere hours after confessing to killing his brother.
