Miriam Weeks, AKA, Belle Knox, an up and coming porn star and Duke University's most famous undergrad, has gone on ABC's The View to defend her choice to act in porn in order to pay Duke's extortionate $60,000 dollar a year tuition. Except for Woopie Goldberg, the old biddies on the show were incredulous at the idea that Knox found acting in porn to be empowering; including Jenny McCarthy, who was literally posing nude in Playboy and shooting softcore videos before Knox was even born.
In a post on xoJane, Knox also bashed so-called feminists who called her "an emotionally disturbed little girl," as if they expect a liberated woman to adhere to strict victorian propriety in public while only expressing their true selves in private. What kind of free speech is that?! Lots of people take compromising jobs to pay for college, leading double lives for their future's sake.
Meanwhile, Knox says she made $5,000 on the night of her stripping debut last week. Her only regret is one rough scene she did, which Knox says was too 'psychological'. Anyway, who cares how she pays for college? She's the one taking it off and she's the one getting the degree. If the haters don't like it, then don't watch it you pervs!
