Graphic highway accident: shocking photos show Chinese driver impaled by giant wooden stake

A Chinese truck driver can now boast of being one of the very few who've survived an impalement worthy of Vlad the Impaler!
Now, everyone in this story was driving too close to each other...and the truck carrying that load of wood...well...that's not a safely secured load.
So Mr Li Feng of Kaifeng City in Henan Province was driving his truck over the weekend, when he was involved in a multi-vehicle accident.
Mr Li was unable to stop in time, and his truck slammed into the truck carrying those long wooden stakes.
After that, physics stepped in and caused one of those six meter stakes to come flying through the truck's windshield, and directly though Mr Li's torso. Yikes!
The driver's stomach, spleen and left lung were injured, but all the vital organs were missed...with doctors reporting the stake missed his heart by inches!
Mr Li is expected to make a full recovery...and will hopefully in future keep his distance from trucks carrying spikes or stakes of any kind.
