The 24-year-old housekeeper was hired by the Hu family four years ago to take care of Hu Ye-Chang (胡葉昌)'s elderly mother.
According to court reports, Hu first sexually assaulted the maid in November, 2010. One day, when the maid was mopping the floor, Hu groped her from behind, forced her to perform oral sex, and then raped her on the dining table. He then analy raped the young woman in her bedroom. Hu then threatened to send the maid back to Indonesia if she dared tell anyone.
Following the first offense, Hu sexually assaulted the maid regularly once or twice each week, giving her about 16 dollars after each of the assaults.
The horrid crime was worsened when Hu's 45-year-old son began to sexually assault the woman as well. He raped the maid 35 times, and also gave the maid $16 after each assault.
Hu's 15-year-old grandson also raped the housemaid three times.
The Indonesian housekeeper says she was raped a total 81 times in one year by the family's men. Her ordeal only ended when she'd saved up enough money to pay her foreign domestic worker agent fees. She contacted Taiwan's Council of Labor Affairs in September 2011.
In court, the three Hu's claimed that it was the maid who seduced them, adding that she had agreed to perform sexual services with them for money.
However, the judge reviewed the evidence and ruled that the woman had not given them consent.
