Explosion in La Habra, Los Angeles: eight injured

Eight people were injured after an explosion broke out in a commercial building in Los Angeles on Monday.
The victims suffered from burns to their faces and forearms. Three of them were in a critical condition.
The accident occurred in a commercial building that housed a metal plating and polishing firm in La Habra, a suburb in Los Angeles, at around 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday. The explosion was reported to the authorities by occupants of a neighboring building.
The fire was contained in half an hour.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the blast had been triggered by the defective duct system, which had been clogged by lint and dust.
