Muslim extremists attack Muhammad cartoon contest in Garland, Texas - TomoNews

When two gunman attempted to terrorize attendees of a Muhammad cartoon exhibition in Garland, Texas, they wound up becoming target practice. The lesson here: "Don't mess with Texas."

Welcome to LoneStar state baby—where the trucks are bigger, the attitudes are badder, and the guns bang louder. Texans are not afraid of exercising their first amendment, which is what the Islam-bashing event in Garland was billed as. The second amendment, protecting people's right to bear arms, also came in handy Sunday night.

Event organizers hired an abundance of private security in preparation for what could, and eventually did, happen. If a small Muhammad art exhibit in Texas could honeypot a couple extremists out of the woodwork, maybe staging an even bigger event would draw radicals out in droves.

And when they're all in one place, we pull the trigger, and blind them with the light of logic and reason.
