Scandinavian food innovation: Norwegian artist Alexander Wengshoel eats his own hipbone!

25-year-old Norwegian artist Alexander Selvik Wengshoel ate his own hip bone flesh and said it tasted "goaty" and delicious.
The Scandinavian hipster was born with deformed hipbone, which made him struggle to walk. Four years ago, he decided to remove his bad hipbone and requested his doctor let him keep the removed part.
Originally, Wengshoel was only going to display the bone and his video footage of his hip replacement at his art exhibition project.
But he then came up with a brilliant idea when he was cleaning the "meat" on his bone - eat it!
He ate the meat with potato gratin and a glass of red wine, and said it tastes like wild sheep.
"The concept of this project is to let people think of how they should think of their own body parts." said Wengshoel.
