Jack Elway, son of Denver Broncos general manager and former quarterback John Elway, was arrested on Friday and accused of throwing a woman out of a moving vehicle.
Jack Elway and a 23-year-old woman were driving near Colfax Avenue and Lipan Street. What exactly preceded the drive and ditch is not known, but an unnamed source said the unnamed woman had no visible injuries. I'll believe that when I see it.
The woman called police and they arrested Jack at a property owned by his father. He was then transported to jail where he stayed for an indeterminate amount of time (read: "minutes") and finally taken to a bail hearing where he was slammed with a $550 dollar bond.
Because the size of your bail bond should be inversely proportionate to your ability to pay it, right? Rumor has it that Jack Elway would have been released earlier but it took the court a while to find change for a $1,000 bill. The court also issued a protection order forbidding Elway from throwing any more women out of cars.
