Slovakian man Stefan Zoleik thrilled after 6 kilo tumor removed from his face

For most people, the phrase, 'it felt like a weight was lifted off me' is just an expression.
But for the last 10 years, the weight on Stefan Zoleik was very literal. Zoleik suffered from Madelung Disease, a rare condition that causes fat cells to grow out of control.
As the tumor developed, Zoleik says people began avoiding looking at his face.
He also says it became increasingly difficult to turn his head.
Finally, surgeon Igor Homola sat down with him and fleshed out the details of a procedure that could remove the 6 kilo mass. Of course, Zoleik immediately said 'yes'."
After a decade of suffering, Zoleik went under the knife in a five hour long operation.
Zoleik says he's thrilled with his new look and finds his new face 'amazing.'
And, in case you're interested, Madelung Disease is a rare condition most commonly affecting men of Mediterranean descent. Alcoholism is also thought to contribute to the disease.
