Chickens burned alive: 9,000 birds roasted in delicious poultry truck fire

More than 9,000 chickens were roasted alive when a poultry truck caught on fire last Sunday in China.
The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on June 8 in China's eastern province of Hubei (河北省), while the truck was driving on a highway and one of its tires suddenly caught on fire. The driver pulled over immediately and attempted to quell the fire, but the vehicle was soon engulfed in flames.
Witness said most of the chickens were burning to death in the cages but some birds managed to escape and were seen running around on the highway.
Fire fighters arrived at the scene around 4:20 a.m. It took them about 30 minutes to put out the fire. The highway was cleared by 5 a.m. The chicken's bodies were sent to a garbage dump for more burning.
