Teacher student sex: Band teacher Michelle Strickland charged with having sex with boy, 18

A 22 year old assistant music director in a West Houston high school, was caught tuning the wrong fork.
It all started sometime around the beginning of the school year. Michelle Strickland was a new teacher at the school and was very popular with her students. For one 18 year old student, he became teacher's pet the easy way.
According to officials investigating the matter, they made beautiful music together throughout the whole school year, either after school in the band storeroom or at the boy's home.
Spring Branch police charged Strickland with having an improper relationship with a student. Since the boy was 18, there are no sex-crime related charges. Meanwhile the Spring Branch Independent School District has fired her, and relieved her of her teaching licence.
