Montana Rail Link is attempting to remove three Boeing 737 fuselages that tumbled into a river in western Montana after a train accident on Thursday , July 3.

A train loaded with six Boeing 737 fuselages was en route from Spirit Aerosystems in Wichita, Kansas, to the Boeing assembly line in Renton, Washington. The train was reportedly traveling well under the 35 mph speed limit before it went off the tracks about 10 miles west of Alberton. Three of fuselages fell off the rail cars but remained on land, while three others fell into the Clark Fork River below, according to the Weather Channel.

An attempt to remove the fuselages has started since Sunday, which could continue until Tuesday. Montana Rail Link spokeswoman said a crew of 50 with eight heavy-equipment machines was working together to hoist up the three fuselages that fell into the river, the Weather Channel reported.
