A California woman has been taken into custody after allegedly setting her boyfriend on fire after an argument police said.
On Saturday night, 52-year-old Stacy Mahle got into an argument with her 43-year-old boyfriend, whose name has not been released.
The two slept in separate rooms, and according to reports, the man woke up around 7 a.m. with his chest and legs on fire. Mahle was gone.
The victim was taken to St. Bernardine Medical Center and was treated for third-degree burns. Mahle arrested 12 hours later and faces charges including attempted arson, attempted murder and domestic violence.
