Caught in the act! Men dressed up as women to steal baby formula

Three men have been arrested for stealing baby formula from a Rite Aid in Long Beach; two of them were dressed as women.
Darrin White, age 20, of Long Beach, and Samuel Frank, age 28, of Glendale, came up with a plan to seem inconspicuous in the baby aisle.
The two donned wigs and dressed like women with purses before going into the Glendale Rite Aid south of Los Angeles on Saturday.
The men walked right up to the baby aisle where canned formula is sold.
They each grabbed two cans of Enfamil formula and put them into their purses, which was seen by a loss prevention employee.
When they tried to walk out of the store without paying, the employee stopped them and said the police had been called.
Upon arriving, the police searched their car and found 24 more bottles of formula which was tracked back to a nearby Vons.
A third man, Edward Nino, 25 of Los Angeles was found outside the Rite Aid and was connected to the crimes after Vons surveillance video showed him with them. Police say the baby formula was stolen to sell on the black market and at swap meets for about five dollars a can - it can be very expensive, ranging from 15 to 100 dollars.
