Police chokehold death: NYC cops, medical responders denied emergency care to Eric Garner

New footage of Eric Garner's arrest implicates police and EMS in the New Yorker's death after he was put into a chokehold during an arrested last Thursday.
Cell phone footage uploaded to Facebook shows the lack of care provided by New York City police and Richmond University medical responders.
A New York City Police Department spokesman said Garner was being taken into custody when he went into cardiac arrest and died. The seven-minute video shows Garner as unresponsive, in handcuffs on the ground. Officers attempt no resuscitation efforts, even though efforts speak to him are fruitless.
The four EMS responders have been placed on leave, and Officer Daniel Pantaleo has been place on "modified assignment" while police investigate Garner's death.
