Kent, Washington gas station shooting: Two men dead in argument over car blocking pumps

Two men were shot dead in a random shooting on Wednesday morning at gas station at a busy intersection in Kent, Washington after an argument over a car blocking access to the pumps.
The shooting happened at 8:40 a.m. outside the Shell gas station on the 6400 block of 212th Street. A black Cadillac with two young men inside pulled into the gas station and backed in sideways, blocking other vehicles from accessing the pumps.
The car was parked with four doors open and music loudly blaring. One man walked up to the store and threatened the clerk, before heading back to the car.
The other man then got into a fistfight with the clerk. When the store manager tried break it up, the man who had gone back to the Cadillac grabbed a gun from inside the car. He ran over and fired several times at the clerk and manager.
The two men sped away from the scene. A witness said the car had a spare tire “donut” on the back.
Police arrived to find the clerk and manager dead in the parking lot.
Kent police detained two men for questioning, impounded their cars and later arrested one of them in connection with the shooting. It remains unclear whether the murder weapon has been found.
