Drunk driver killed: Texas father David Barajas accused of revenge killing man who ran over his sons

A Texas father is accused of fatally shooting a drunk driver on December 7, 2012, after the driver’s vehicle killed his two sons on the side of a county road, and is now facing a trial jury in Brazoria County.
David Barajas was with his two sons when his truck ran out of gas, about 100 yards away from their Alvin, Texas home. David Jr., 12, and Caleb, 11, got out of the vehicle to help their father push the F250 to their home åt around 11 p.m. at night.
Jose Banda, 20, was driving nearly double the speed limit when he crashed into the back of Barajas’ truck, tragically killing his two sons.
Banda was found shot in the head by police and Barajas now faces a jury trial for his alleged murder.
The murder trial has stirred a lot of emotion on both grieving sides, with a lot of unanswered questions as to what happened the night of December 7th 2012.
