Islamic State kills Briton: David Cameron vows to hunt down jihadists after aid worker Haines killed
  • 9 years ago
British Prime Minister David Cameron has vowed to hunt down the killers of an aid worker after jihadist group Islamic State beheaded Uk citizen David Haines.

Cameron, who held a meeting of his emergency committee on Sunday in response to the video, later condemned the killing as a “despicable and appalling murder” and vowed to hunt them down.

The video, released on Saturday and titled ‘A Message to the Allies of America’, follows the by now familiar IS pattern.

The hostage first makes a statement blaming his country’s leaders for his imminent death, before the same masked jihadist known as “Jihadi John” re emphasizes IS’ twisted logic and then proceeds to kill the hostage in the same brutal manner.

Another British hostage Alan Henning, a taxi driver from Greater Manchester who was kidnapped in Syria as part of an AID convoy, was then paraded as the next potential victim should the UK government continue to fight against the Islamic State.

In response to Haines’ death his brother released a statement in tribute remembering him as “a good brother.”
