Kitchen knife stabbing: Texas bar fight escalates and ends with man slaughtered at luxury apartment

Houston police have arrested a suspect in connection with the fatal stabbing of another man early Sunday morning at a luxury apartment high rise in River Oaks.
The night’s events allegedly began with a brawl started at the popular Gaslamp bar in Midtown after Huntley James Grichor, 26, and Shannon James Gallagher’s, 25, girlfriends got into an argument.
One of the lounge’s bouncers kicked out both of the men and each party went their separate ways.
When Grichor arrived home at the West Avenue Gables complex in Upper Kirby, he spotted Gallagher who’s girlfriend reportedly lived in the building.
According to police, that’s when Grichor grabbed a kitchen knife from his apartment and stabbed Gallagher to death.
Grichor was arrested early Sunday morning and was released Monday after posting a $50,000 bond. Houston police are still investigating the incident.
