Ratatouille:Qatar Airways customers waited hours for a stowaway mouse to be killed to board a flight
  • 9 years ago
A Qatar Airways flight landing in Madrid on Sunday was grounded for six hours after a mouse was spotted running through the cabin aisle.

The Boeing 777-400 coming from Doha was close to landing when passengers saw the furry animal run from first class into the main cabin.

When the plane landed at Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport, customer service officials announced that the aircraft was going to close for service.

Hundreds of people missed connecting flights to Thailand, Singapore and Bali because of the animal.

After employees fumigated the aircraft and followed standard procedures, the mouse was found dead in the aircraft.

Qatar Airways pledged to customers to cover the cost of the inconvenience as a result of the six hour delay.
