Ferguson riots: man found dead in car day after riots broke out after verdict announcement

A man’s body was found inside his car on Tuesday morning, the day after protests broke out in Ferguson, Missouri following the announcement of the grand jury’s decision on Monday that it would not indict officer Darren Wilson in the shooting death of Michael Brown.

The man, identified as 20-year-old DeAndre Joshua, was found shot dead in his Pontiac Grand Prix near the Canfield Apartments, just yards from where Michael Brown was shot in August.

A resident in the area reported seeing four people with guns talking about killing someone as riots broke out on Monday night. He reportedly called the police, but they never showed up.

Police have classified the death as suspicious and are interviewing witnesses to understand the incident’s ties with the riots that broke out last night.
