Police helicopter public sex: British pilot used police chopper to film people doing it

A British police officer has been suspended over allegations that he was using the police chopper to record people getting down in the park.
Adrian Pogmore, 48, of the South Yorkshire Police is suspected of using the helicopter’s thermal camera to watch people bone in the park and recorded a couple having sex on a country lane while he was supposed to be on patrol, and then taking the footage home with him.
He faces an internal police hearing later this month after his wife ratted on him after their marriage fell apart. Pogmore has not been arrested, but he could face disciplinary action or possibly voyeurism charges.
According to the South Yorkshire Police, Pogmore was suspended on December 5, 2014 while the allegations were investigated. The alleged recording is believed to have been made in 2008.
The police chopper is equipped with a Wescam MX15 camera that can be used day or night. It has two daylight cameras and one thermal imaging camera, which capture video images that are then displayed on color monitors in the helicopter.
According to the South Yorkshire Police website, ‘the camera system, while the most expensive part of the aircraft, is among the best in the world. It is used to search open areas, both rural and urban, not only to trace offenders but to locate missing persons resulting in numerous lives being saved.”
