Hit and run accident: grandma left for dead by Huntington Beach speeder - TomoNews

Police in Huntington Beach, California have released Surveillance footage from a McDonald's drive thru in hopes of catching the suspects involved in a hit and run that landed an 85-year-old lady in the hospital on April 22nd.
The driver of a gray Dodge Challenger pulled into the McDonald's parking lot right as an elderly couple were walking out of the fast food restaurant. The vehicle backed up, and hit the hunched over old lady.
The victim's husband confronted the driver, and another witness rushed to help out the injured granny. The suspects both exited the vehicle to check on the victim, and when they saw she was injured, they quickly fled the scene.
Police are on the hunt for the pair of suspects, who have been identified as being of asian or caucasian descent. According to witnesses, the passenger is a five-foot-five woman in her early 20s with long dark hair, and the driver is a six-foot tall man in his mid-20s with a medium build and the heart of a coward.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor head injuries and bruises, but since she mostly only speaks Korean, she didn't want to make a public statement. Authorities have asked anyone with information on the suspects to contact the Huntington Beach Police Department.
