Kansas flash flooding emergency: police warn residents not to kayak on Manhattan streets - TomoNews

Torrential rains caused tremendous flooding in and around Manhattan, Kansas on Monday. The heavy rains dumped over 3 inches of rain in a span of four hours, triggering flash flooding on the Kansas State University campus.

Students and residents were seen using rafts to navigate streets normally plied by bikes and cars, while campus police urged caution to all.
