Besieged Aden desperately awaits Tuesday's humanitarian truce

Tuesday’s five-day humanitarian ceasefire can’t come soon enough for the people of Aden.
Weeks of aerial bombardments by Saudi-led coalition forces and street battles between Houthi rebels and loyalists of exiled President Abd.Rabbu Mansour Hadi have left the Yemeni port city on the brink of collapse.
“No water, no electricity, the sewage is overflowing, our children’s bellies are swollen and we have no medicine, we have nothing,” cried one resident.
Air strikes are continuing throughout much of the country as the Saudi-led coalition tries to restore the government of President Mansour Hadi.
On Sunday in the capital Sana’a, the home of former president Ali Abdullah Saleh was destroyed.
It has also been reported that a Moroccan F-16 warplane, backing up the Saudi-led operation is missing.
