A recent report has come out describing three separate occasions this year where guns were inadvertently left in places around the U.S. Capitol Building by police officers; in one case, a loaded Glock was found by a child.
Three startling incidents of police officers leaving their guns in random places around the U.S. Capitol Building have been revealed.
In March, a visiting 7- or 8-year old child found a loaded Glock in a bathroom inside Speaker of the House John Boehner’s office suite.
Apparently, it had been left by a member of the Congressman’s security team and could have been fired.
