Earthquake Moves Nepal’s Capital Kathmandu By 10 Feet

The recent catastrophic earthquake in Nepal has caused its capital city Kathmandu to move 10 feet south from where it was previously.

The entire capital city of Kathmandu was moved 10 feet south as a result of the recent devastating 7.8 magnitude earthquake in Nepal, say experts.
And though it’s a long distance, it was somewhat expected since such a big magnitude quake requires that kind of significant slip along the fault line spread across a wide area of rupture.
The resulting clash, in this case, was reported in the Wall Street Journal as equivalent to “the explosion of more than 20 thermonuclear weapons.”
