Boat christening ceremony: The Prize boat was awarded to the winner of the Parmigiani Spirit Award 2014: Franz Gravenhorst
Before the World Rowing Cup season starts, the 2014 Parmigiani Spirit Award boat christening ceremony was hold on 28th of April in Zurich (The Prize Boat (a racing eight boat) is sponsored by one of the world's top rowing boat manufacturers - Filippi ).
At this event the boat was handed over to the winner of the 2014 Award Franz Gravenhorst, the Zurich Technical Institute rower. The Ceremony was combined with a medal ceremony for the Swiss University rowers who won a medal at the 2014 European Universities Games in Rotterdam.
The FISA (World Rowing Federation) presented - for the second consecutive year - the Parmigiani Spirit Award 2014.
