Injured Baby Echidna Nursed Back To Health

After being severely wounded when a bulldozer accidentally dug up its burrow, a baby echidna is recovering at an Australian zoo.

A baby echidna has been nursed back to health at an Australian zoo after its burrow in the wild was accidentally destroyed by a bulldozer. 


The incident occurred right before Christmas, with the tiny anteater seriously wounded on the side of its body. 


The echidna is believed to have been two months old at the time. It was brought to the Wildlife Hospital at Taronga Western Plains Zoo to be nursed back to health.
