Ingredients:

1 cup plain flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
salt to taste
1 1/2 tbsp oil
1/2 cup wheat flour
1/2 cup curd
oil for frying

Method:

- In a bowl, add the plain flour and the wheat flour and make a well in the centre.
- Add the curd, baking powder, salt to taste and oil and mix all the ingredients well to make the dough. Add water as and when required.
- Knead the dough well. Once the dough stops sticking to your hands, that means it's ready.
- Once the dough is done, apply little oil on it, cover it with a wet cloth and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, make small balls of this dough.
- Apply little oil on the board and some on the rolling pin. Roll the small dough balls and make them around 2 mm thick.
- Fry them in hot oil on a high flame.
- The bhatura is ready to be served.
