Caught on camera kidnapping: Carlesha Freeland-Gaither taken in Philadelphia by unknown assailant

Philadelphia police are soliciting the public’s help in finding out who kidnapped 22-year-old Carlesha Freeland-Gaither, after she was abducted off the street on the 100 block of West Coulter Street shortly before 10:00 p.m. on Sunday night.
Surveillance footage shows a man driving down a street and parking his car, which has been identified as a gray Ford Taurus with a red spoiler. The man then walks a short distance out of the camera's view, back towards the direction from which he came.
The man then chases a Freeland-Gaither across the street before grabbing her and struggling with her down the sidewalk to force her into his car.
Police say the abductor is an unknown black male of medium to heavy build, about 25 to 30 years old, wearing a dark jacket with a hood, a dark hat and dark pants. Anyone with information about the kidnapper is warned against approaching the suspect, but encouraged to call the police immediately.
Witnesses Freeland-Gaither called out for help, and managed to kick out both back windows of the car as it pulled away. Her glasses and cell phone were dropped onto the street during the struggle.
Police say Freeland-Gaither is described as a black female, five feet, three inches tall, 125 pounds with brown eyes. She has braided hair and has a tattoo on her lower back, and was last seen wearing a light blue jean jacket, a gray and white sweater, carrying a black backpack.
