Drunk driver kills man: Police video shows Gabrielle Moya failing sobriety test

Gabrielle Moya of Albuquerque, New Mexico was arrested for drunk driving twice in one month. The 20-year-old is facing up to six years in prison for killing a man during her second DWI episode.
Police say Moya’s blood alcohol content was double the legal limit at the time of the accident — nevermind the fact she’s too young to drink.
It was 2:50 a.m. on October 18 when a police officer spotted Moya speeding as she travelled east down Montgomery Boulevard. Steve Reider, 54, was on his motorcycle at the time, stopped at a red light on Montgomery and Eubank.
The officer watched as Moya drunkenly approached the red light without caution. Moya slammed into Reider from behind, and the motorcyclist was thrown from his bike. He died at the scene.
Albuquerque Police released video from the officer’s lapel cam that clearly shows Moya was having trouble with basic motor skills.
Moya was charged with vehicular homicide and driving while intoxicated. Her bond was set at $350,000.
