Two armed gunmen almost made a clean get away Friday morning after robbing a Texas bank.
Around 10 am in northwest Houston, one thief jumped on top of the counter inside a Compass Bank while his partner waited in the lobby holding a gun in the air.
Before they could make a clear escape a dye pack exploded forcing the thieves to leave most of their loot behind.
The two robbers got away in a stolen truck which was later recovered by Houston police.
The suspects are still on the loose and are considered armed and dangerous.
One is described as a black male about 5 ‘10, weighing 215 pounds with a heavy build.
The second robber is described as a black male about 6'2, weighing 160 pounds with a thin build.
