Pregnant Fiona Anderson kills her children and commits suicide, tucks dead children into bed

In England, Fiona Anderson, age 23, and pregnant mother of 3 children, the youngest being 11 months old and the eldest just three, killed herself this week, along with her three innocent children.
Fiona had been arguing with the father of her children, Craig McLelland, the night before when he told her that he was leaving her for another woman. Fiona was so enraged she stabbed him with a kitchen knife.
McLelland was treated at a nearby clinic but told staff that he’d been attacked by a stranger. He wanted to protect his children from being taken by social services.
The irony is that Fiona would drown her children, one by one, the following day. She then dried their hair and tucked them into bed with their teddy bears and wrote “I love you” on their bodies in lipstick. She also wrote other messages on the walls of her bedroom, the most chilling one being: “A mother never abandons her children.”
Security camera footage shows Anderson wandering desolately around the front step of McLelland’s house. By that time, her children were already dead.
A CCTV street camera caught a glimpse of the 7 month pregnant woman as she headed towards an empty parking garage. She jumped from the roof of the structure and her unborn daughter died with her.
It was the discovery of Anderson’s body that lead police to her house where they discovered the bodies of her children.
Social services had been trying since 2009 to get in regular contact with Fiona Anderson but say she had been ‘hard to reach’ due to her ‘unwavering and determined refusal to engage with staff’. Unfortunately, this is also be the reason that Anderson was never given a psychological evaluation, which may have raised red flags for social services about the danger her children were in.
