Hypocrite GOP staffer Elizabeth Lauten loses her job after nasty Facebook comments on Obama’s kids

Elizabeth Lauten is a communications director who lost her job because she really sucks at it.
Lauten, who worked for Tennessee Republican Representative Stephen Fincher, was somehow was so offended by the dress and demeanor of Obama’s daughters at this year’s Thanksgiving turkey pardoning ceremony that she took to Facebook to make nasty comments.
You can find the full comments online, but these choice selections will help you get the idea: “Respect the part you play ... Then again your mother and father don’t respect their positions very much ... so I’m guessing you’re a little short in the ‘good role model’ department ... dress like you deserve respect ... not a spot at a bar.”
As you might imagine, lots of people found Lauten’s comments offensive, but that was just the beginning of Lauten’s troubles. It took the Internet about 30 seconds to discover that when Lauten was 17 — back in the year 2000 — she was arrested for shoplifting.
A couple years later at the age of 19, Lauten was ticketed for speeding and running a red light.
Lauten says she prayed for “several hours” before coming to the conclusion she was wrong and apologized. But while Jesus may have forgiven her, the Internet did not.
She later resigned and a White House spokesman noted that, in general, kids of presidents should be off-limits.
