Murderer sentenced to life after decapitating the mother of his children

Last month in Argentina, Alejandro Reynoso, age 44, was finally convicted of the murder of his 22-year-old lover Solange Aguirre.
The two were lovers and had lived together for years, when they separated they had two children and when Aguirre asked Reynoso for child support payments they argued. The argument became violent and Reynoso killed the mother of his children. He then decapitated her and cut off her fingers to hide her identity.
Reynoso invited a friend to go fishing and when he had a moment alone he buried her headless corpse on the beach.
Nearby fishermen saw Reynoso burying something and called police who discovered the decapitated and fingerless body. However, they were able to match her identity from a tattoo Aguirre had on her body to a missing persons report filed by her family.
The verdict has taken 2 years because of the country’s slow court system but Reynoso will now spend the rest of his life in jail.
